This warning appears when Gather Online detects a URL in your presentation. In many cases, this is not a concern—such as when a URL is simply listed as a reference or part of your contact information.

However, if your presentation relies on clicking a link to show online content, this could be a problem. Internet access may not be available in the presentation room, or the setup may not include a podium laptop, meaning you would have no way to navigate outside your slides. In some setups, the laptop is positioned at a tech table, and presenters only have a wireless clicker to advance slides.

If you need to access external content during your session, visit the Speaker Ready Room (if available) to discuss your options. A technician may be able to help by embedding the content directly into your slides or finding another solution to ensure a seamless presentation.
