What is a handout? How is that different from a presentation?

A handout is an additional file that provides extra information beyond the on-screen presentation. While a presentation is what attendees will see during the session, a handout typically includes more detailed content, such as interactive forms, resource lists, or in-depth explanations. Handouts are usually more text-heavy and often provided as PDFs.

How handouts are used can vary by conference. In some cases, they are uploaded to a conference app and attached to the session information for attendees to access. To clarify where and how handouts will be available, check with your event contact.
