What is notes view? How will that look in the presentation room?

Notes View is a feature in presentation software like PowerPoint that allows presenters to see their speaker notes on a separate screen while the audience only sees the slideshow. This is useful for referencing key points, reminders, or scripts without displaying them to attendees. If this conference is set up to support Notes View, it may be accessible in one of the following ways:

  • (1) A laptop at the podium, allowing you to see and control your presentation directly.
  • (2) A downstage monitor (DSM), a screen placed in front of the stage displaying your notes and slides.
  • (3) A small monitor with a mouse on the podium, allowing you to navigate your slides and use the cursor to point out details during your presentation.

The method available for your session is pre-determined based on the event setup, so if you have any questions or need more details, please reach out to your event contact.
